The Perfect Brow
There are four people a woman can not go without when trying to achieve her perfect polished looked, which are a manicurist, beautician, waxist and most importantly an eyebrow specialist.
Let’s face it; you can’t let just anyone shape your brows. Everyone’s face structure is different and there are different methods a woman can use when getting the perfect brow.
Thread: This type of eyebrow shaping has become more popular mainly because threading an eyebrow is believed to be more exact, and you are less likely to get stray hairs below the eyebrow line; which all women hate. Threading is also less painful then waxing. When threading your eyebrows a cotton thread runs over your skin and simply removes the hair. Your eyebrow specialist holds a piece of thread in their mouth or hand and rolls it across the brow removing excess hair.
Plucking: Plucking can be done with tweezers at home or by your eyebrow technician. It’s safer to let your eyebrow specialist pluck your brows for a more defined exact look. Still some women do like to pluck when they are in between eyebrow treatments. The technique for plucking simply evolves a warm towel and tweezers. Before plucking, put a damp warm towel over your face to allow your pours to open up, this makes for a less painful tweezing.
Waxing: This method is the most popular when it comes to eyebrow shaping. Though this method is less painful over time it is said that too much waxing can cause damage to your follicles, usually making your eyebrow shape the same for life. When waxing your eyebrows, the technician takes warm wax and puts the wax where the stray hairs are. The wax removes all unwanted hair, and then your technician will then use tweezers to give your eyebrows an arched and clean finish.
It is important to remember that when shaping your brows to not get carried away. Tattooing and drawing in eyebrows is the look of the 20s and 30s not 2009.
Natural is always better.
Eyebrow shaping might change according to fashion but a nice clean defined eyebrow will never go out of style.
Remember that fashion means little without the beauty behind it.
