Looking good at every age

Okay, it’s time to fess up. All women are guilty of it. Some women have a closet full of it, and what I mean by it is the wishful rack.
The wishful rack is any pile of clothing shoes or accessories that perhaps looked dazzling on you years ago but you still can’t seem to part ways with it in the hopes that you can wear it once more and somehow re claim your younger and daring fashionable days, but the number 1 rule in fashion is change.
Styles are always shifting and evolving and being stuck in past is not good for you or your image. Halle Berry in 2002 and she still looks amazing at 40
Now don’t get me wrong you can never go wrong with a… Vintage Chanel dress or a classic Givenchy shoe but it’s important to distinguish quantity from quality.
One of the problems with women is that they find it difficult to differentiate themselves from the child that they once were and the adult women they need to become.
Women in their 20’s get to experiment the most when it comes to fashion and new trends. Women in their 30’s can still experiment but are also reaching a point in there careers where they are joining the work force so sweats and flip flops does not apply here ladies.
Women in their 40’s know who they are and are confident and strong so their wardrobe should reflect that.
The first step for improving your wardrobe for your age is finding out who you are and what statement you want to make about yourself, because you can follow all the fashion trends and rules in the world but if you don’t feel comfortable in your clothing it shows, and trust me ladies low self confidence is worst look you can ever have.
Secondly find out what color looks best on you. For example yellow is a great color for the summer but that doesn’t mean everyone can pull it off. Everyone has at least 2 colors that make them look fabulous but finding it is the hard part.
Women who are in their thirties and forties should not feel constricted to wearing just drab colors; though you can never go wrong with that little black dress it is not the only color that’s suitable for you. Don’t be afraid to play around with colors such as warm tones during the spring that can actually make a woman look younger and less doubty.
The rule that you should wear only dark colors during the winter is an ancient myth; in fact brighter colors during the winter give the illusion of comfort and warmth.
Accessorizing is a must!
Whether it’s those Burberry glasses you wanted or that Dolce & Gabbana scarf you saw and couldn’t live without.
Women in their 20’s should realized that being to matchy matchy can be a bit boring and look like your just trying too hard.
Don’t be afraid to miss match this isn’t the 90’s anymore. You never know those dark green Michael Kors heels might look amazing with that red dress you bought from Barneys.
Last but not least find your signature look which is a look that you are known for that always makes you look fierce, a look that will always turn heads. Your signature look will make you feel great and look flawless with any occasion this is important because at the end of the day you are your own biggest critic.
