Generations of Change
Benefitting Goodwill of Silicon Valley
Production by Helium Magazine
Friday, October 8th, 2010
At the Marriott Hotel in Downtown San Jose
The second annual Eco Chic Fashion Show featured an earthly cool cocktail party, fabulous signature dinner and — of course — the show! As they take the catwalk, you might have recognized some of the VIP models as members of families who helped to shape Silicon Valley.
This fall, we took you on a journey to the past to see what inspired us through Generations of Change… Then, we will moved to the present, where talented designers re-fashioned brand name and vintage Little Black Dresses. The dresses were shown with incredible hats made by Melissa Bolin of Kitty Andrews Millinery and will be up for Live Auction after the show… Finally, we explored the future of fashion as young designers from San Jose to San Francisco face off in a challenge to show the best of Eco-Street wear and Eco-Evening wear.
Little Black Dress Competition Winner: Erandeny Torres
Eco-Street Wear Competition Designer: Platinum Dirt
Eco-Evening Wear Competition Designer: Amour Vert
