My name is Amber Simons. I am a senior journalism and philosophy student at San Jose State University and I have a soft spot in my heart for fashion. As a young woman who enjoys shopping as a hobby, I have discovered that the shopper usually has more fun in small shops than in large department stores. Service tends to be better and more catered toward the customer. In most cases you are more likely to find one-of-a-kind pieces for collecting outside of Wal-Mart and Nordstrom. Plus you tend to do a service to your community when you purchase items locally. This blos is about stores located in San Jose that offer unique shopping experiences to the consumer. Unexpected surprises are plenty in the retail arena. Enjoy and have fun exploring San Jose fashion.
